Hi, my name is Leonard Cheong and I’m the founder and creative mastermind behind Finix Wear.
I’m really excited and glad that you’ve decided to join me on this journey of my brand which has been many years in the making.
Why many you ask? Well, Finix is essentially a culmination of my entire life and my experiences. It is a reflection and expression of who I am and what I’ve been through. It is my creative process, my lifestyle, my dreams, my imaginations.
But most of all, the core of my brand and what it stands for often arises during the most challenging of times in my life. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, my greatest inspirations and epiphanies in life usually come during my hardest moments. It’s like…

Through my brand website and this journal, I intend to share with you what brought me to where I am today. I plan to keep this journal very raw and candid so that you as my patrons – and my friends – will come to learn, experience and [maybe] be inspired by my journey.
Now, I’m not claiming that my life is perfect nor that it’s the one true way of living. I’m not perfect. In fact, far from it. But I hope that through the sharing of my life and all its imperfections that it’ll remove that veil of illusion that some of us just got it better or that we’re just naturally smarter, funnier, stronger, more sociable than the other. No. The fact is, just like me, all of us go through similar, if not the same trials and tribulations like everyone does, just under different circumstances.
At the end of the day, it’s really all about perspective and how you handle it.
Overtime, I’ll share with you the emotions and mental cacophonies that afflict me and what I do to overcome them – or not. I’ll also occasionally share the genesis of my brand and my business, how I started it and what led to its conceptualisation. I also hope to share the inspiration(s) behind each of my collections and product drops and what brought me to create each and everyone them. The themes/topics shared on this journal will be a mix of self-help, empowerment, fashion and business (in an age of digitalisation).
I truly hope that through Finix and my personal sharings, you’ll come to learn and be inspired by my experiences. I hope that my words will give you the strength, encouragement and awareness to let you know that you are capable of anything if you just put your heart and mind to it – and never give up. As world-renowned motivational coach, speaker and author Tony Robbins once said, “where focus goes, energy flows” – and so will the fruits of your labour.
